West Highland White Terriers, commonly known as Westies, are a breed of dog known for their spirited personality and brilliant white coat. West Highland terriers are famous for their spunky, friendly, and loveable personalities. They are alert and friendly. Being stable, they love to play and will do so with each other or with you.

The West Highland White Terrier is a courageous, self-reliant, small, game, well-balanced hardy looking terrier, exhibiting good showmanship, possessed with no small amount of self-esteem. These small dogs make excellent pets as they are easy to train and eager to please.

A small white terrier with upright ears and tail, developed in Scotland from Cairn, Scottish, and Skye terriers. They are very energetic but tire and need to take several naps per day.

Known for their spirited personality and brilliant white coat. They are friendly, good with older children, and thrive on lots of attention. West Highland White Terriers are active, assertive, fun-loving, well-behaved and light-hearted.

The normal height is 9-12 inches with weight of 13-22 pounds.
